The Good Spot / Things to Do in East Village
Things to Do in East Village, Calgary
A good day in East Village.
East Village sits where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet, right beside downtown Calgary. Here's how we'd spend a day here, from a riverside walk to a sauna by the river.

Morning
Start on the river.
The Bow River RiverWalk runs right through East Village and is one of the nicest walks or runs in the city. Head east and cross the bridge to St. Patrick's Island Park for river views and open green space.
Then grab a coffee. The Good Bar on Confluence Way pours Rosso espresso, protein lattes and matcha, with gluten-free, dairy-free protein cookies if you want a snack. It opens at 7am every day.

Afternoon or evening
Finish with heat and cold.
Book a session at The Good Spot: a big cedar sauna, ice-cold plunge tubs, a lounge and a fire-table patio right off the RiverWalk. Come alone, bring a friend, or bring the whole group.
It's a great way to warm up on a cold Calgary day, and a better night out than another round of drinks. Sessions start on the hour, and we're open until 10pm.
